As the founder of HealthSafe NZ, committed to "Protecting Your People", I wanted to challenge myself with Australasia's largest silent killer, suicide. Sadly, 538 Kiwis died by suspected suicide in the financial year to 30 June 2022, with the World Heath Organisation (WHO) reporting that suicide is now the fourth leading cause of death in 15-19-year-olds globally.
My mission was to do something about it. I'm therefore proud to introduce a new team and concept that is committed to improving people's wellbeing and reducing harm, through an innovative solution delivering assessments and data analytics.
Supported by NZ mental health specialists, our platform uses smart thinking technology to identify people wellbeing issues and goes a step further by providing instant support to those in need of whatever their challenge is.
